What different payment options are available? BlueLight Internet offers PC users several convenient ways to pay for the service: Credit card - The fee will automatically be charged to your credit card each month. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Network. We also accept debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo.
Be aware that despite having the Visa or Mastercard logo on it any purchases made are applied directly to your checking account. Electronic Check - An electronic check is an Internet transaction that enables you to automatically make payments from a checking or savings account. You will need a checking or savings account and valid routing and account numbers to use this option. Payments for service are automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on your billing date through the ACH (Automated Clearing House) system used by major banking systems today.
This option works exactly like writing a personal check. Simply enter your checking or savings account information in the spaces provided on the registration form. This information is found along the bottom edge of your checks. You will need all of these numbers exactly as they appear for your account to sign up for electronic check payments. Please note that BlueLight Internet charges an additional $2.99 monthly fee for this service.
We currently do not accept payments by check or money orders for BlueLight Internet MegaMail service. You will be required to signup for the Credit Card or Electronic Check payment option for the MegaMail service.
If you are currently paying for BlueLight Internet Platinum or NetZero HiSpeed 3G with a payment method other than Credit Card or Electronic Check, you will need to change to Credit Card or Electronic Check in order to sign up for MegaMail service. Once you change your payment method, all your BlueLight Internet services will be charged with this new payment method. Members cannot have two different payment methods for BlueLight Internet products. Phone Bill Payment - This method of payment allows your monthly charge to be added to your phone bill. United Online charges an additional $3.99 monthly fee for the phone bill payment option. The total charge to your phone bill each month will be $13.94 instead of $9.95. You will see the charge in a special section of your phone bill entitled 'Integretel'. You agreed to the additional monthly service charge in the Phone Bill Payment Service Terms & Conditions during registration. Check or Money Order - Members can select to pay by check or money order by sending their payment along with the remittance slip they receive with the emailed or postal mailed invoice. Please note that check or money order payments are accepted for pre-paid multi-month plans only. This option charges an additional $5.00 per transaction processing fee for this service.
