I'm having trouble customizing the My BlueLight Start Page (Netscape) If you're having trouble customizing your personal Start Page in Netscape, you will first need to clear your browser's "cookie" file. - Log off BlueLight Internet and close all open programs.
- Click on the Windows Start button, point to Find (Search in WinME) and select Files or Folders.
(Windows XP users: Click Start and select Search. In the Search window, choose All files and folders.) - In the Named text box, type cookies.txt
(Windows XP users: Type cookies.txt in the section marked All or part of the file name) - Click on the Find Now or Search button.
- The cookies.txt file should appear. (If multiple files are found, select only the cookies.txt file in the folder called C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\default.)
- Click once on the cookies.txt file to highlight it then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
- Click Yes to confirm deletion.
The next step is to make sure the cookies option is enabled in Netscape. - Open Netscape.
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences
- Under Category, click on Advanced.
- Under Cookies, ensure that Accept all cookies is checked.
You should now be able to log on to BlueLight Internet and successfully customize your Start Page.
